Here comes the media once agian making sweeping generalazations after one game. The Patriots are headed to another Super Bowl, the Jets are a fraud and might as well forfit the final four games of the season, ......please. It's one game people, one! Yes the Jet's were flat, and the Patriots could do no wrong. Tom Brady looked like a three-time champ. Sanchez looked like, well, he sure didn't look like the MVP candidate some pundits have been yapping about. But you know what?
If the Jet's were to play the Pat's in New York next Sunday, do u really think the Patriots would be a slam dunk? I don't. It's
one regular season game, a statement game. The Pat's won at home, as they should. The Jet's beat New England at home earlier in the year, as they should of. There's a great chance these two teams will meet again in the playoffs for the rubber match, and if that happens, don't look for either team to win by 42 points.

College Basketball Interest........
Most die-hard football fans could care less about college basketball until football has ended, and by then, half the season has vanished. How can the NCAA improve there basketball ratings? Easy. Why not copy baseball? Baseball opens up the year with Yankees/Red Sox, Cardinals/Cubs, Braves/Mets. These are rivalries that create buzz. So instead of matching the Big 10 vs. the ACC, or the Pac 10 vs. the Big 12, open up the season with Duke/UNC, Oregon/Oregon St., Texas/Oklahoma, u get the idea. Then mid-way through the season, play your conference vs. conference tourney's. In the same way baseball switches to inter-league matchups mid-way through the year. By this time conference play is so intense, a little break is welcome by all. And here's the secret, since the season began with such enthusisiam. thanks to conference play kicking off the season, fans will have followed the sports since November's opening tip, and will continue to do so all the way to the Final 4.

This particular blog will be factual, opinionated, and I hope, entertaining to you. I encourage any and all feedback. So let's get started.........
